Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Not to see rates. You provide just six data points—gender, birth date, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term—and the tool returns quotes from carriers. Your actual name, street address, and detailed health information only come into play if you decide to move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The quotes you see reflect what each carrier charges for the health tier you selected. The carrier confirms your final rate class during underwriting, which might keep you in the same class, move you to a better one, or place you in a different tier. Nothing here is a binding offer or price guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, and the application is generated directly from the specific quote you selected. It then opens on the carriers' secure platform. You're free to step away and return later to finish, and all signing is done electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agency (License 0B75129), manages the entire application process.

Will I need a medical exam?

That's determined by the insurance company, the coverage amount, and what you've told us. Some carriers with accelerated programs can say yes or no immediately for qualified applicants. Each quote on this site indicates whether that product requires an exam, might request one, or doesn't need one at all.

Is a longer term better?

A term length should match the period your family would face hardship without your income: paying off a home, raising children, managing business debt. Longer terms carry higher monthly costs but keep your rate steady for more years. The quote tool lets you see side-by-side pricing for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options.

Does this site sell my information?

Absolutely not. The quote tool never asks for names or email addresses, we don't sell or share data with anyone, and our measurement system has no cookies. Visit the privacy page to read the complete details on what we do collect and who else has access.
